    I've been Published!

I've been published in our Stitch with the Embroiderer's Guild Magazine

This could put me onto the path of national fame & notoriety! - outside this forum that is.

I was working on this article back in Feb-March, (about the same time as the Sorting Hats) and things were going slightly craz(ier) than usual in my sewing room. I also opened up a yahoo group at http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/emb...guid=448802086 for when it was published so that there was somewhere online for interested people to meet up, unfortunately the web address wasn't added to the article - oh well
Although it is initially aimed at the Embroiderer's Guild of Great Britain, it is open to any one who is interested. This series I have called the Dewi Sant series and is 5"x3" per finished panel.

congratulations rosemary, fab fab fab - and the project is great - love it - will have to look out for the mag too
i want to make some - what a great project for another kids item - or perfect as a prezzie for the old age home - so much touchy feely can be integrated - and with bright colours it would be a great "keep the senses busy" item for people with dementia - definitely have to give this a good think 8)

Not particularly, I had my sensible head on for writing up the instructions (in a bit of a hurry), and it got a bit edited (including a couple of stitch mis-identifications ops: ). but I am dead chuffed all the same 8)

I called it the Dewi Sant series, because I wanted a name to indicate which design sheet it was working from and because I picked up my original set of cards from the tourist information office at St. Davids last year on holiday.
