Does anyone remember back in the 70's a folk singer named Judy Collins? She bears a strong resemblance to quilt teacher, Sally Collins. Are they sisters? or one and the same? Anyone out there know anything? Judy in AZ -
Oh, I loved Judy Collins's voice. Haven't thought about her in years.

What an interesting observation. You're right about the resemblance. I love Sally Collins and all her precision work. Guess I'm one of the inquiring minds that would also love to know if Judy and Sally Collins are related.Comment

I just googled her and found her official site with a gallery. The only siblings in the phots are two brothers and one sister Holly. Maybe shes a cousin or married into the family and just happens to look like Judy. the site is http://judycollins.com/judy_dancing/pictures/

I'm a big Judy Collins fan and she is still touring, I had the opportunity to see/hear her in Spring '07 and it was terrific.

I just had a quilting class with Sally Collins today and it was one of the BEST classes I've ever taken!!! I learned so much!!! I asked her about Judy Collins and she said they are not related and that she (Sally) was never in the music business. She was a homemaker in the 1970's when she started quilting.
