As I am researching the area I have found these:
In Pacific Grove--Hand Maden and Back Porch Fabric
In Carmel--Findings(buttons and lace trim)
Does anyone know about these shops or any others in the area?

I visited both shops during a trip down there in January. Back Porch Fabrics is great -it is a beautiful, well stocked shop. The Hand Maden is a bit more of a fabric store, but worth a visit. I visited Back Porch Fabric in Pacific Grove today and it was a delightful shop. It has a wonderful selection of everything quilt related...books, fabric, patterns, notions...with many class samples and gifts. I definitely recommend this shop if you are in the area!
