Florence, WOW! Your Cathedral Windows is beautiful. Reading your post was just exhausting! I don't know how you accomplished it and everything else. I hope your niece appreciates all your work. 10 pounds! My arms would be putty after working a quilt that heavy!
    Happy Quilting,

Florence - The quilt is beautiful. I always start out with no deadline and most of the time it takes a deadline to make me finish. We definitely want more pictures. I would love to have had a 10 pound quilt to snuggle under when I was a little girl sleeping in a room with no heat. To this day I love sleeping in a cold room but hate getting up in a cold room. Florence,
I am so happy that you got that done and posted it. Now I can't wait to get mine done. I just have to kill our cat first. She slept in my tote for this quilt. The black fabric is full of hair  . Oh well I will just have to wash it again.I have most of my squares cut for a twin size. Although I plan on doing a queen or king size. I just figured I would do so many then cut some more. This way I would not have squares all over the place. I did go and get some really vibrant colors for it though I am using this as my travel project for now. That and the couch project. I have way too many going on the machine at this time my DH is going to kill me. He thinks I only have 3 quilts going I have 8! Yep 8 ! What can I say my stash is almost non existant now because I have used so much of it up. I have been very good about using what I have. Now to get back to business Rachel

thanks for all your kind words... I'll get some more pics up at some point but relatively new camera wasn't cooperating 100% so I'm leaving that frustration for a while!

Rachel I went thru 3 complete rolls of lint-removers on this thing! First it was fuzz from the carpet, then once I had the batting in it I'd get cotton all over it every time it moved! Lucky thing tho', I finished one just as I was getting ready for binding-- hey! Blue painter's tape on one end of the binding, and roll the rest around the now-empty roll

My first job after is tonight I'm going to sit back and catch up here on the forum! I've missed you guys! That and sleep were the sacrifices for the marathon finish. Next job is to refold my fabric a la Margo and clean up the mess that's accumulated thru this project!

But it was all worth it last night as she opened it up
