    Adhesive on fabric

My sister recently used a fusible (not sure which kind) on her quilt. The fabric pieces didn't stay stuck down so she removed them which left only the adhesive. She says she doused the quilt in Shout in desperation and washed it, but that didn't budge the adhesive. Any suggestions?

I don't know if this will work but it does work really well getting this sticky stuff off the irons. Try laying a dryer softner sheet onto the sticky stablizer spots and heat your iron up and iron across the fabic softner sheet it may lift away the stickyness. It's worth a try if all else fails. I really don't know if this will work but it works great to clean off the iron.
    Good Luck!
