The 29 inches is from the height where the machine sets. You will love the table. The service is great when you call. . . .e-mail is pretty slow as Barb may be at a show and can't access the e-mail.

Both my Bernina 1630 and Singer Featherweight sit flush with the insert. Do you need to subtract some spacers?Comment

Yes...you are correct. Hubby found the spacers and once he put them in, the table sits flush.
This table is wonderful. I've never had a "real" sewing table before, and even though it is small, it fits the machine perfectly.
