    GET MY QUILT

    [b]

LAST Noverber I was in a severe automobile accident. My car was totled and I was taken to the nearest trauma unit. I had a concussion and a fractured pelvis. I had been on my way to quilt guild with a problem quilt when I got broadsided.

In the ER I kind of drifted in an out of consiousness. Every time I woke up there was only one thing I asked my family for.....

" When you go see the car, get my quilt and my camera... Do not forget to get my quilt!" Apperently I asked them over and over the same thing. It got to the point that when I woke up or got aggitated they lied to me and said they had already gotten my quilt out of the car, just to settle me down.

This may not be very funny but I was very lucky to be alive so I am greatful.

Here is link to my quilt

That is me showing off the quilt at guild. Needless to say... I am very proud of that quilt.

glad to hear u are ok.

i went on a quilting retreat. 10 of us sitting around a big table with 10 machines, fabric piled up, everyone working on a different thing. lost my seamripper. i yelled out does anyone have a seam ripper i can borrow and this woman next to me says, here u can borrow mine and with that she pulls on a string attached to her chest, teeny tiny scissors come out and gestures for me to use it and i just looked at her and said - ahhhh, the string isn't long enough.....everyone died laughing....

Enjoyed seeing all the quilts, but which one was in the car accident?

            Hope you've fully recovered!
