Guess I'm gonna have to git me some of those Fabrico Markers! It looks like you are having a lot of fun with them...while riding in the car! Great use of road trip time if the scenery isn't interesting to look at. Thanx for the inspiration and sharing your process, Clara.

Most of the way I work isn't exactly portable. This technique (or part of the process) works great for that. Thanks guys for all the nice comments.

Beautiful work Clara - I can't believe you can do that on the move. Your roads must be a lot better than ours.

              fab fab work clara!!!
wow - fabulous that you can actually do these while sitting in a moving car - probably helps that your roads are a lot less windy and up&dowy than ours...
but i still wouldn't want to attempt it :P

Ok here is 'Reel Paving' - reels fabrics chosen, cut & stitched by JKorte, re-arranged & quilted by me.. Still needs it's label & hanging wotsits sorting out, but since the binding is finished I thought I would show how it has come out.
sorry the quilting doesn't show too well, there is an 8 petalled flower in the centre and 1/4 flowers in each corner, hand quilted.

Rosemary, Reel Paving is sweet--love the gold to light rust colors and I could actually see the hand-quilting. The blue of the binding is a great complement to the center colors. Very attractive contribution to AAQI!
