FYI- Amy Davidson has 2 new patterns coming

Amy Davidson has two new quilts that are going to be published soon. I saw them at a truck show at our Guild. Tentative names are MAD ABOUT PLAID and DON'T BOTHER ME....

Amy designed the cute quilt called HIP TO BE SQUARE. What I like about her quilt patterns as they often have secondary design elements that can be subutle or strong depending on your fabric selection and plaement.

Oh, the Argyle one is my favorite, too. I can just see it done in white, green, and pink as a throw back reminder to us "80's girls".

Ami is teaching a quilt workshop at the ORTONVILLE (MI) COUNTRY STITCHERS this Monday...... I can hardly wait to be able to go to it and see what she is going to teach. I think it is one of her newest patterns.

Since I learned the HIP TO BEE SQUARE SETTING STYLE ... I have been using it like crazy in my fast quilts... it is so much fun to use.

Really cute in baby quilts as long as it is scaled nicely.

I saw the Mad for Plaid pattern at Christina's Quilt Shop in Rochester, Michigan -- all made up, and it is adorable.

It was done in a collection of Christmas fabrics, and it was stunning.
