Just took a break from Afternoon Delight to make a Quilt tote bag for a quilting friend. I watched DIY Fabric Gift Bags you tube by Sew Very Easy channel.
It is not done yet, but thought I would share the concept. You could put your favorite applique, or quilt blocks on both sides. The video is only 8 minutes.
I made mine with a stiff Peltex 70 by Pellon for the stabilizer so it would hold its shape upright if filled with quilting stuff. HelenW
