    Cutting one inch squares

I am just starting a border with one inch finished squares. I have cut a a 1 1/2 inch strip and then cut the strip into 1 1/2 inch squares. Anyone have a faster and more accurate way to do a two column border made up of one inch squares? Thanks for your help.

June Tailor also sells a cutting ruler with half inch slots. It is very quick and accurate. If you are looking for a quick accurate way to sew them, Paula Doyle's technique for
mini mosaic would work. It would leave the feather light fusible stabilizer in the border and you have to press the seams open. But it is very accurate. I used the technique
in a wall hanging I made. Paula has a 30 min you tube video on how to make the various mini mosaic blocks. It is fun to do.
