Removing chalk marks from soft loose cotton

    B) OK gang. If you need help getting chalk off your soft loosely woven cotton quilts, like Peppered Cotton, I finally managed it with a damp Mr. Clean magic eraser extra power sponge (no cleanser in it) and considerable rubbing...yes, rubbing...it did NOT damage the fibers to do that. I suspect it is because the sponge takes all the abuse. I had tried so many other things. Whoever would have expected it. The chalk was so happy in the fibers it just didn't want to leave. LOL. But test it first...don't take my word for it.

I didn't test whether the chalk would come out first. :side: :cheer: Oddly, this is the very same chalk that simply would not stay on my silk quilts I made over the past year.
