I am planning to hand quilt the bishops fan design over a smallish quilt. I have found a template and am going to use one of the wash out pens. I haven't tried this fan design before - do I need to mark the entire quilt straight off or can I mark line by line - I am thinking that I probably need to start the stitching in the middle and work out to keep everything taut or can I start at the bottom edge? :? thanks! -
if the quilt is well basted then start at the edge and in one corner. One row at a time
I have recently completed one using this method and it worked fine.
