Help calculating how much fabric used in a quilt

I made a drunken path quilt with no curve stitching. I was just experimenting to see if my idea would work, so I used scrap pieces I found in my mother's house. Now I want to figure out how much I used of each fabric so that I might be able to put together a class. I'm not very good at math and I have never done anything like this before. If anyone can help I would be grateful.

To get 1 l-shape and 1 cake-shape of the same fabric...I add approx 2". I do not square up before cutting

This won't help you any, but made me think of John Flynn (who will be featured in Episode 410).

He said that after running out of fabric before finishing a quilt he has come up with a fool-proof method to avoid that situation. He says that now he mathematically figures exactly how much fabric a quilt will require, then he doubles it and adds a yard!!

      Doncha just luv it???
