what info to include on a label?????

I have to admit my labels are simple, but that is about to change. I just put in my first quilt into a competition and noticed they require certain info on a quilt. I would like to create a label that is an extention of my piece, but include any info that any potential future competition might need. Any words of wisdom here, please. Thanks, Clara8

It varies with me depending on what the quilt is for. If the quilt is for a certain person or certain occasion then I would add that information to the label.
    Such as:
    Made by (name)
    For (name)
    Occasion
    Date

If the quilt is not specific or unknown at the time, I just put my name and date on the label.
I am sure there are "rules", but we can make our own rules
I don't like a label to be big or wordy just the facts :P

In addition to the other information given, I also add my address: city, state.

I think I would use the quilt profile form used to post here at TQS as a guideline for what info to include. We are part of a international quilt show. Thanks, TQS
