not quilting per sec but related in a round about way

i have a shirt that i bought made form a cotton fabric that has a design printed with red on a white shirt.the red dye has ran on to the white but not on any other thing that i washed it with including those color catcher things from shout how can i get the red out of the white on the shirt. if any one has any ideas on what they may have done when faced with a stituation such as this only in quilting i would like to hear of you solution. thanks

I had this happen on one of DD's shirts. I rewashed it a couple of times with Synthrapol. The last wash I also sprayed it with Shout prewash. All the excess color came out.
I'm only offering this as a suggestion. No guarantees.

I'd saturate it with the Shout and try that. I can't think of anything else. That stuff works miracles for me.

Zout works wonders, especially on white uniforms.
