    hand quilting

I have decided to hand quilt my latest project and I am having trouble at the intersections where the seams come together. The seams are thick and I cannot keep the stitches even when I cross them. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you are doing the rocking stitch, I would suggest that at the intersections you change to stab stitching to get across them neatly/evenly and then revert back again.

The stab stitch is what I always did on the thick parts. It is just hard to get them to look even like the rocking stitch.
