I am thinking about getting one of these for appliqué. Any advice? -
I was struggling w/ the decision also and decided that based upon my style of applique to go w/ the Scan N Cut 550 w/ quilting patterns. I was disappointed in the limited number of quilting patterns but find that so far it's great at accurate applique pieces provided the art work is very clean. But I've only had mine a couple of days. So the Mid range Scan N Cut might have saved me $50.00 but I don't know how far I'll push myself. The Silhouette which is just being sold at my quilt store has a long line of customers waiting. So check out dealer classes etc.
