    Dyeable thread

I want to do some stitching on cotton clothing before I dye it. I need 100% cotton thread. Has anyone used a brand name product for this purpose? If so what were your results and what did you use? Betty Ann

Betty Ann, I haven't used it for dying, but Superior's Masterpiece is a 50 weight/2 ply Egyptian long staple cotton thread. If you want something heavier, King Tut is cotton 40 weight/3ply and comes in solids as well as variegated that might be interesting to over dye.
