Favorite batting for Art Quilts

I'm interested in knowing what type of batting people are using in their art quilts. I have been using Warm and Natural, but would like to know what others are using and why. Thank you.

Hi, most of the time I use Pellon's Ultra-Thin 100% Polyester along with lightweight stabilizer.

It depends on the look I am trying for. If I want to have a lot of trapunto type look and plan on some heavy quilting, I use Hobbs 80/20 on the bottom and Hobbs wool on the top. If I want a very thin look, I just use Hobbs 80/20, or even just wool if the quilt is small enough. Wool is great because it squashes where you want it to with the stitching and poofs where you want it to with no stitching.

An art quilter I know who wins lots of prizes uses felt for batting. Those babies hang beautifully flat, look great, but are not 'cuddly', and cannot be folded for storage, but need to be kept flat or are rolled.
