Love this. She responded to technical needs for her vision and made the effort to see that the working parts were still pretty. I will try this. What fun. Betty Ann

Wow... This opens whole new possibilities for the architectural quilt challenge... But maybe for a follow-up project

Amazing! I believe we are all creative beyond belief. It is just that we need to learn how to tap into it. Let's go!

I saw her winning quilt at the recent Montreal Quilt show- the Baker- and it was wonderful!

In the previous show, her 3-D quilt with the forest was loved by everyone, and I do not know the whole story, but apparently some of the judges said 'it was not a quilt".

Love the way she expands and pushes the boundries of defining 'What is a quilt?". I remember a section in the film " Why Quilts Matter' that addressed this topic!!

                          What IS a quilt?

3-D architecture challenge here we come!

Innovators will always have to fight their way. Nothing stays the same but, "change" is not always welcome by all.

I was privileged to see one of Dominique's walk in quilts 2 years ago at Quilt Canada in Calgary. It was amazing! I am so glad to see this interview.
