I'm paper-piecing the stars, and using part of Margo's lesson. I couldn't get the sewing the circle in...what a mess!. I was obviously doing something wrong :roll: so I just machine blanket-stitched it in after I glued it. I also just raw-edged appliqued the center circles, cut out with my Accuquilt Go die.Originally posted by racheljp

I watched Margo's video again and think I figured out what I did wrong. If we sew the background circle to the star, the little tabs must be against the bed of the machine. I'm going to try this again because the technique looks really fine.Comment
