Margo, Thanks for the you tube video, gave my memory a little jarring. Forgot the add-on 1/4 inch.

I tried that when you first mentioned it a year ago. The first sheet jammed in my printer and if I remember correctly the ink smeared. I will find some use for the roll of paper. It would probably work for foundations for crazy quilt blocks. Also 1 block could be drawn, then multiple block patterns could be made by stacking the paper and sewing on the lines without thread. I could see using it for quilting designs too, although it's not see thru. And if all else fails I'm sure I will be painting a room again sometime in the future.

I also tried the freezer paper method a few times. I had trouble keeping the freezer paper stuck to the fabric. It probably works better with larger block sizes. Since I normally do smaller blocks, I will continue using my preferred method which is working with the fabric on top. I like seeing what I'm doing at all times and have found this method to work best for me most of the time. It's good to know all of the methods though as different ways work better for different style blocks.
I'm sorry that happened to you. I use Easy Mask with my vintage HP DeskJet 820Cse with no problems at all. Your particular printer might need an adjustment to its settings for a different type of paper media when working with Easy Mask, which is thinner, or freezer paper, which is thicker than regular printer paper. I don't need an adjustment for Easy Mask, but do adjust my paper media to allow for the thicker fabric lined freezer paper.

I have not had success using freezer paper in my newer HP PhotoSmart printer and have never tried Easy mask in it. If your printer is a laser printer, that might be the problem.

          Margo,
After viewing the first of your videos, (which is really good) I am sure they are all going to be extremely informative. You really do have a way of making things sound doable. Thank you for all you do and for taking the time to make these videos.
          Oh yea, awesome manicure.

LOL! Thanks Lori! Please don't tell anyone, but the manicure is the stick-on kind from the drug store! A whopping $7!!!
I've got to get the other videos done before these silly things pop off!

Have others viewed th new video? What I read is that it won't be available until tomorrow. Is that correct? Can't wait to view it since I want to get started. Printed off the paper piecing foundations. I guess I can go ahead and cut the 3" strips. I need 30, is that of each fabric, both the turquoise and orange?

Hey Margo! I'm joining the crowd is saying "THANK YOU"!! You must know how much we all appreciate you taking the time to put together videos. I want to say "thanks" also for the tip about ironing the freezer paper BEFORE running ti through the printer. I will be trying that this evening, and hopefully my printer will become more "user friendly".

                        Again, Thank You!
