Sorry that I didn't answer earlier, but I think Sue is out of town for the next few days.

Because I made my quilt with scraps, I didn't really pay attention to Sue's cutting chart.

However, I would say that if you have a couple of leftover pieces after you have assembled your blocks, don't worry about them. You can either save them and try to use them later, or toss 'em.

When Sue gets back I'll see if there is more to add.

      SEW LONG!

        Hi all -

Yes... you are right; two extra white pieces were inadvertently left in the instructions. A new file will be posted (probably by tomorrow morning...) with the correction made. I'm so sorry for the error -- but I'm glad it was not a serious one. You can use the white fabrics, if you have already cut them, next month - cut the 1-1/2" pieces from them.

        Again, I'm so sorry!

well it's good to know that I wasn't imaging there were two extra pieces. I thought maybe it was just me, because I made some other mistakes today. I had done all the paper piecing and cut the blocks and removed the paper when I discovered I had placed two different pices wrong. One had the color back to the right side of the back ground, and then One had the background back to the right side of a color. I fixed them all by carefully unsewing all the little buggers and resewing them right. Some days it just doesn't pay to get out of bed. LOL....But tomorrow is a new day. Good night everyone....

Gee, I thought I was crazy! I had the extra pieces. But they didn't match to the paper, so I thought I had just read wrong.
