    DECEMBER BOMs

We are closing in on the finished quilt! This is an easy block to do!

This month we need to post our photos under SHOW & TELL (on the top purple bar). Click on SHOW BOM ONLY and post all your BOM photos there! Then they can be viewed by screenname, by month, or all together! Fun, huh? Click on the thumbnails for larger photos. Please also post a note here so we can check the SHOW & TELL page and/or your profile.

If you want to include a thumbnail here in the forum, Bridget has posted directions in the FORUM. They are under: MEMBER BLOGS; MYSTERY QUILT BY KATHY JOHNSON. It's easy to do, but you have to set up an account with a site like Webshots or Flicker, or have your own blog account. Again, you can click on the thumbnails for larger photos.

This site just keeps getting better and better!

My December block is posted in Show and Tell. Like I wrote on the description there: I was determined to finish stitching just one of these BOM's on the first day and I finished this one at two in the morning on the Dec. 2nd, but it was a continuation of Dec. 1st.

I love the new place to post our blocks in Show & Tell. All those blocks.....and it will be so exciting as they keep adding up. They are all beautiful!

Yea, Dana! Great block! I have only printed mine out. Haven't even thought of fabrics yet as I am determined to finish my challenge quilt before tackling this last BOM.

I just posted my December block on my profile. Now I'll put it on Show and Tell. That is certainly getting full of blocks!!! So glad it's done and can't wait for January 1.

My December BOM is in my profile. However, I don't see where to put it in the Show and Tell as there is no category for December. Marge

My Dec block is now in Show and Tell. Why do I suspect Bob had something to do with fixing the glich in the posting of blocks for month 12? What would we do without him? Thanks, Bob.

Marge and Nancy, great blocks! So different, but still wonderful!

I have my finished block posted on Show & Tell! I have all my blocks now cut down to 16 1/2" (my new favorite tool for today is my Omnigrid 20 1/2" square ruler). Will start cutting the sashing tonight. I have lost my enthusiasm for doing applique on the borders, so it will done pretty soon (the top anyway, I'm a thinking this may be one I send out to a long-arm).

Maggie in E. Central Illinois, who is going to stay home tonight, and not venture out into the cold to attend Altar & Rosary.

Beautiful block, Maggie! And I agree with you about getting burned out for an applique border! I'm working on the one for my GRAM SAYS quilt now, and wish it were finished so I think I'm going to put the bouquets aside until I'm in the mood for needleturn again!

Beautiful block, Maggie. I like the way each of us can do them differently and they still all look lovely. Marge

Nancy, Marge and Maggie....Wonderful blocks girls, as usual!!! It has been a joy seeing all of these quilts coming together over this last year. I better get off the computer and get my Dec. BOM done!
