Have you put this pattern up yet? I'm pretty confused still,do we need to be joined up for season 4 first? I don't mean to confuse anyone else, but I'm still kinda lost....is John still working on this?
    Thank you,Kathy

Thanks so much, Alex, for posting this very detailed list....I'm sure I'm not going to be the only one shopping and plotting for the next six weeks until we can actually put our hands on the pattern! WooHoo!! Nancy

Thank you, Alex. It is going to be so much fun gathering fabric for this project. A little shopping and lots of going through my stash. Marge

Yes - you will have to sign up for a full year (2009) - starting Jan. to get the entire BOM . We are no longer doing it series based - very soon John will be spelling out the details. IF, you are a current member, nothing will change for you at all - your membership will just extend at the first of the year. The reason it is taking a little time to get up the resubscribe part up is that we have a deal we are working out as a gift to series our 3 people.........a thank you for supporting us and being loyal customers.

You all know that I was honored to "test" the pattern for Sue, and have finished my 2009 BOM, so I can tell you that if you are making a scrappy quilt, the yardages are not critical! I didn't have enough of my background fabric (a soft yellow) and used two different backgrounds on some of the borders! We are really looking forward to seeing all the different color combinations for this project!

I think I'm going with blues, greens and purples, scrappy. The fabric requirement list was a bit daunting to me, but I am going to start getting FQ's and 1/2's together when I go shopping. It is truly a beautiful quilt.

I really appreciate the posting of the yardage requirements for this. It looks a bit overwhelming. but hey if I can do needle turn applique (this was my first attempt at doing it with the current BOM) then I can do this. Love learning all this new stuff!!!!

Plus if it's paper piece I can do paper piecing. Just hate tearing away all that darn paper afterwards.

I really want to thank Margo for putting up those albums of step by step on the applique. That is really what helped me, that and my mother-in-law. Thank you very much Margo, and I look forward to more step by steps from you on this next one.
Even if I don't do it your way, its always nice to take a look at how someone else is doing it, or get some ideas on other methods.
