I don't live in Wisconsin but I will be visiting the Milwaukee area every few months to be with my "sweetie". If there's a gathering in that area while I'm visiting, I'd love to meet the ladies doing the BOM or just as TQS members.

Linda, we are talking about LaVeta, COLORADO! You live closer to LaVeta than all but two of the other BOM SQUAD members!

I thought you were talking about getting together with others in your area, if there weren't a gathering in La Veta ops:

Hey All, I am afraid I won't be able to join all you happy quilters in the get-together. My hubby is not all that supportive of my "hobby" so it's a no-go for me...but I will be there in spirit with bells on!! I live in hope to get the ok to someday make it to Houston. What can I say, we live in the 19th century around here. LOL! I guess I will use my non-travel time for stitching. Happy thought to you all from sunny but cool NE Ohio

I think the closest BOM to me is probably Sue Garmon! ha Anyone else in the Houston area? I think there are 2-3 of you in parts of Texas not too far from here. Spring? New Braunfels?

I would love to join the BOM Squad in LaVeta! I'm retired and money is tight but perhaps with enough advanced noticed I could swing it. ( Call it birthday present, anniversary present, christmas present etc.) The regional get together sounds good too! I live in North Carolina. Anyone near me? Margo please put me on the map!
                  Thanks,
                  Connie in NC

OK...I've made a copy of the locations of all the members of the BOM SQUAD and posted it on my profile. I'm not sure how everyone feels about having their info posted, so I've just marked the general locations (like with fat crayons???). I've looked for an interactive map thingy on-line, but they want big bucks for the downloads, so if anyone has access to something like that, and you are willing to plug in some info, please let us know. In the meantime, does anyone object to my posting my original (very messy!) copy that shows profile names and first names of the BOM SQUAD members????? Some of these members have posted all 8 blocks already and some have only posted one. I know there are others who are working on the BOM who have not posted any. We would love to see everyone's blocks!!!

For me it will be 1,411 miles; 21 hours/21 minutes
                          not counting potty breaks!!!

Looking at my map, it would be really tough to make a bus trip out of it, but that surely would be FUN!!!

Wow, Margo, your creativity is endless! The map looks great! I am fine with my info being included. And now the pressure is on, as I am one of the folks with only one block posted. Gitty Up! Mary Kay
