Margo thanks for the link to Sue's blog. There is a lot of good information there. I guess there is no question about us pestering you next year. You're a natural leader. Hope you'll help us out next year too. Thanks for all the things like the map that you step up and do. That is so cool for you to get in on the planning for the pieced quilt! Good for you!

Yes, I have been able to explore more creativity with color working on this. I sure like having a month to figure out how I want the block to look. It is a beautiful quilt pattern. I am sure looking forward to next year's,,,,
And thanks to Margo, for always giving us tips, i appreciate it!

Thanks Karen, but Judy posted the link first! I had actually forgotten to check it recently! There is great info there!
And Bridget gets the credit for the awesome map! Mine looked like a kindergarten project!

And....TRUST ME....Margo has NOTHING TO DO with the planning!! I've just been a sounding board....this is Sue's design, and you are going to LOVE it!
It's going to be so much fun to see what kinds of colors everyone comes up with!

I know what you mean, and she looks way to young to have accomplished so much.

Well I thank again Sue, Margo and Bridget for making this BOM so much fun. I got a late start and waylayed due to my medical problems this year but being able to follow along has kept me keen to finish my blocks now that I'm up again. And that probably wouldn't have happened without you girls. But even if I wasn't trying to make this beautiful quilt, it's been worth it to watch and learn and be entertained. You 3 are very important catalysts for the fun we have here.

I must confess: the next BOM will be a bit of a challenge. If you have tracked any of the quilts that I've made in the past... you will notice that I do not do "simple" pieced quilts. Stick with me though (and with Margo and Bridget, who do such magic!)... I think that everyone will learn a lot when making the next BOM. The beauty of doing an online quilt is that page count is not a consideration. I can put lots of color photos into the pattern, and lots of extra tips, tricks, and lessons. In the end, I know that every single one of you can make the next quilt! Think about it: how many of you ever thought you'd get through all of this applique? I know there were some doubters out there - but from everything I've seen, you're champions! And besides - what's so challenging about sewing a few quarter-inch seams?! Ha!

Thank you all for the sweet comments and thank you to Sue -- I am no longer afraid of the "a" word. Now you've got me thinking about those "few" quarter inch seams you're talking about!

                        Sue,
We are all enjoying this wonderful applique BOM - it is hard to switch gears (I thought) but truthfully, I can hardly wait for the next segment of challenge. We are blessed to be a part of your remarkable talent and in the end have beautiful quilts ourselves.

I agree Margo, Bridget and let's not forget Judy has kept us all excited, filled with info and working each month and anxiously waiting for the next. What a great group we have!

                        Thanks to all of you,
                        Bonny

I love this group. Applique is my favorite technique and I have learned so much from this BOM but I also can't wait to at least peep at what we have in store next year. Remember we will have a new BOM to work on while we are quilting this years BOM. We are going to be busy busy busy. And Sue, I am ordering your Lily Rosenberry pattern. Am I a glutten for punishment or not?

I am really excited about next year's BOM - a pieced quilt - my passion! But watching this latest show, Sue made applique look so easy. I need to get back to this year's BOM and get going :-) I think all of you here at TQS rock!!!

Sue, Margo and Bridget, thanks for all your help! I'm very excited about next years BOM and learning more about piecing.

I'm still learning about applique and found out that Sue will be teaching a class at Quackertown Quilts in Sept. Gosh after seeing what she did in the show, how could I pass up a chance to learn more from our Queen! So I signed up this morning!
