Maggie, you wore me out and then you made me laugh because I realized we are living in a parallel universe with so many projects going on at once! I have almost 40 quilt tops in my "to be quilted" rack... and I will not even BEGIN to count the ones I have "in process." Only a few are seriously being worked on, though... mostly because I have a deadline for getting them done. Unfortunately, I haven't even started on some of those with deadlines. Oh well... thanks for the giggle!

Sue, I could only hope to be on par to be in a parallel universe with you. Your work is so great! I consider myself on the craftsman level of quilting, still working on techniques and designs by other people. I need the real artisans like you to keep me inspired!

To answer Susan's question, up until recently, I worked on one project at a time. I like to see things finished in a timely manner. Unfortunately, I've now become a typical quilter with several projects going at once. When the new BOM is available, I put aside what I've been working on until the new BOM block is complete.

Ritzy--You're our speed BOM'er! I just love the dark backgrounds. I'm downloading all the patterns and they're on my "gonna do it someday" list! With darks!

What great colors Ritzy! I finished my block today as well and posted it on my profile. I have learned that I don't really like doing french knots but love how they look on the block!

Ritzy and Bridget, AWESOME blocks! Ritzy, are you gonna do more embellishment with the baby's breath, or leave as is? I think it looks great as is. Also, leaving off the large leaves looks great. Love you color choices for the flowers!

Bridget, I know what you mean about those french knots! That is what I am working on right now. Gonna catch up on some of series 3 shows that I have yet to view while I am doing them!

Maggie in E. Central Illinois, enjoying quality time in my quilting room!

Now I am really confused :? . I originally thought I like the black background and wondered what should I do as I really haven't started yet. But instead, I bought some light background and now after looking at Ritzy's blocks, the black really make the bold colors pop. I think I need to buy some black. I guess you always go with your first choice. Hmmmmmmm :!: :!: Judy in AZ

Bridget--your block is beautiful. I am going to finish my baby's breath after the quilting is done. I have some beads that are cup shape and you can put a small seed bead inside that I am thinking of using. I have to get them out and see if their size is right. If not, I will use crystals or french knots. I will add a new picture when I get it done.

Great work, Briget and Ritzy. I brought mine to work today in case it was slow. .................... It wasn't! Nothing done.

Ditto from me for Ritzy and Bridget. The blocks are beautiful. Mine is finished and soaking in Retayne overnight to get out the buildup of glue. I ended up doing the small stems in small zig zag stitch and French knots. After looking at a closeup of Bridget's block I realized I had completely forgotten the small stems of baby's breath in the center of the grouping!! ops: I may put it in or I may just leave it out. Will decide tomorrow.

Got those French Knots done and my picture is posted. I used a variegated brown for the thread.
