July's block is done and posted on my profile. This was an intricate block with all of those little, bitty, teensy, weensy berries. Still love it though. Now to get ready for my class with Ruth McDowell at MAQS in Paducah. Just 2 weeks away and I can't decide what design to take. I have 3 to choose from. Iris, cone flower or a church. Think, think, think. I'll play with all 3 this week and decide. Can't wait. Have any of yall taken from her? I've akways loved her work but never could get in a class till now.

It's beautiful Camille. The dark background really sets off that mix of flowers that Sue has presented us with.

I am really enjoying all of your ideas and expertise. I followed the site where Margo had the slide shows showing the steps for each block... how invaluable. Each block I make is getting easier and with the help and info I'm getting on this forum it's just like an expert class.
I'm bringing my June and July blocks with me to Camp Watch a Patcher, a quilt camp put on by the Orange County Quilt Guild. I'll be taking Phil Beaver's fabric dying class and a class taught by Sharon Schamber on machine appliqué. Your tutorials for these blocks are right up there with the experts. Thanks again.

Luv it, luv it, luv it!
Have fun and enjoy your classes. You will be in good hands!

Thanks yall. I sure enjoy looking at everyone's blocks. I can't wait to see them all finished and in person in La Veta next year.

Is everyone having a good time with the teeny-tiny berries!!!

I've posted my block and the rest of the photos on Webshots. I made a video tutorial as I made the berries, but for some reason it won't load, so the pictures will have to do. IT'S DO-ABLE!!

Ritzy your study piece looks great! I ordered S. Schamber's dvd of machine quilting last week. When it comes I will have to work at it to get as good as you.
