Gosh, I've missed a few days due to work and look at what all has happened in the forum. Count me in the BOM Squad! I've got a ways to go but am enjoying the journey. I ordered the TQS kit and am adding some different fabrics for some of the baskets and vases. I'm learning needle turn appliqué using Sharon Schamber's foundation. This is my first BOM and I'm way behind!

Duffy, love your blocks and that cover is delicious! Glad to see that you are part of this BOM.

All the blocks look great. It's really neat to see how unique each block is with the different color ways.

Let me know how I should do it.
But you did not have see all. Go back to my profile and see the rest of the cover. I did delete the three other side so that I could show of my blocks.

Maybe if you contact Lilo, she could help you get it put up on the new "Projects" page!

I've been here daily and when did the new "Projects" page start? I must have been asleep at the wheel here. Maybe it is the heat. Anyway, Duffy, I love the machine cover. That looks like it could take some time unless you could use a panel of some sort. Just add it to my 100 other UFOs. Judy in AZ where it was 115 yesterday[/i]

Duffy, ever since you mentioned in the big daily blog that you posted pics of your machine cover, I've been dreaming of mine. I thot I would do some kind of house covering years ago but seeing yours really makes my heart race. I want a front row seat to your workshop and I would definately purchase a pattern if you go that route.

Please count me in too. I've been doing my blocks all along but finally got the camera away from my DH long enough to take photos of what I have done so far. They are all now posted to my profile. I love the name BOM Squad!! This is the first applique project I've ever done. I'm using a combination of Beth Ferrier's and Sharon Schamber's methods and doing invisible machine applique. I am very pleased with the results. Recently found a new foundation that has a very light fusible on one side, so no gluing to the back side of the fabric, just fuse it on with my iron. Also, like Beth Ferrier recommends, I started making two copies of the pattern, one for placement and one to cut up for the applique shapes and staple it on to several layers of foundation (fusible side up) to save time when cutting out similar shapes and then I don't have to draw pattern pieces, I just use the copies. I have taken my blocks to my LQS for show and tell and the owner wants me to teach a class on invisible machine applique!! Not sure when that'll happen but I've been thinking about it alot and feel honored that she asked me!! I love all the blocks that have been postedand have been lurking in the forum and looking at Margo's photos on techniques to do each block! Great work, Margo. I'm am really enjoying this project and am looking forward to finishing my June block very soon!!

Randi, great job! Can you share what your foundation product is? I am doing that same technique, and still searching for the perfect product!
