Thanks for all your encouragement.........I think I'm becoming addicted to applique......I almost have my June pattern pieces traced and cut out; so hopefully, I'll have my June block up soon.

Can you believe how quickly the June blocks are being posted??? Is it really getting easier... or is it just too darn hot to do anything outside?!!! That's certainly the case in my home town (Houston).

I'll give you an early warning about July: there are 23 gold berries (the usual size), 6 green berries (the usual size)... and 14 teeny berries (do NOT use the circle template to make these - they don't need to be round and in fact you don't have to applique them on at all if you don't want to!). So.... stay inside, stay cool, and make berries!

PS - and you can work on the October berries, too, if you want - all 47 red ones... the usual size!

I found the perfect red fabric for the October berries. The fabric has tiny stars in the center of a circle. I'll have to get to work on those berries. I have learned how to look at fabrics in a whole new way.

I can't wait to see that fabric for your berries Judy. It sounds very cool. Karen
