    June block posted

MY JUNE FUNKY BLOCK IS POSTED IN MY MEMBER BLOG!!! I CAN'T BELIEVE I GOT IT DONE ON JUNE 2.

Also I have started a new set of BOM's that are six inches square and hand embroidered. The first one (February) is posted in my blog and is done totally in Brazilian Embroidery. I have April almost done and have started on one other month. Some will also incorporate silk ribbon embroidery (Can you imagine doing all those circles with one stitch each? Small it is possible with the silk ribbon techniques.) Any way thanks Sue for helping me figure this out.

Geez Ann, weren't you the one who wasn't going to do this?? I LOVE the way you're NOT participating!! Breaking your own rules, eh? You may have to get into Margo's webshots business and teach us that embroidery... awesome!

Florence, at first I thought you had beaded your tulips. They look great!

Margo, love your colors! Good work!

Ann. That embroidery is amazing! And your block is just funky Ann! Cool!

Ann-Love that funky block! The hand embroidered mini block is too cute!

Margo-You and I have the same idea for tulip colors, as I plan on doing mine yellow and red, my favorite colors for tulips!

Judy the colors on your BOM just knock me out. Love the rhapsody quilt too, wow very impressive!

Maggie, I love the plaid and the quirky position of that top stem!

Poetic license. Actually, I cut the stem too long, and was just too lazy to cut it back ops: . Also, it looked like I was going to have a cramped block. I have cut my background squares to 18" so that I can have plenty of room to trim, but sometimes it just seems like I want to use all the room I have available.
