Hey everyone, I got everything (templates) cut out for the Jan. block-the stems seem too skinny to turn the fp back on. Am I missing something? . Any help will be appreciated, Janice

I've posted my May block. This block seemed the easiest so far. Marge

Marge, your block looks beautiful. The vase fabric is rich and I like how you added the trim at the top of the vase.

Check out Margo's tutorial for help if you're doing needle-turn. It's very helpful.

                    Hey everyone,

I finally caught up. I just finished May's block and Jan., Feb., and March. Woo Hoo, now I can slow down to one a month. I put them on my profile.

                        Camille your blocks are beautiful.

I have my star finished and sat down last night to applique my leaves and I had glued my foundation paper in reverse. Everything is backward. Daffodils are my very favorite flower and I think I have a mental block about making them any color but yellow. I'm sorry Sue, but if I'm going to complete this block I am going to have to made yellow daffodils.

Thanks yall. Sandy I had to make them yellow because they are my favorite flowers too. I know when they poke their yellow heads out Spring is around the corner.

I'd like to know too. I went and checked mine after I read this and the Jan and Feb blocks printed at 16 inches but the March block printed at 15 inches. Fortunately I only actually started Jan and Feb!

Ruth, that is really wierd about the block printing out different sizes. As I said in my earlier post, my January and February are 15", March and April and May are 16". I am going to toss the star points I made ahead of time using the January pattern, and begin over again. It will be o.k. in the long run. As someone said once, you'll never notice it on a galloping horse!!!

I'm a tad behind because of other projects needing to be finished, but I hopefully will get it done in May. I love all the posted blocks and have read all the great tutorials on technique.
