    trapunto on sadona star

Can someone tell me if it is best to take off the Stable Stuff before adding the batting for trapunto on the Sadona Star .. Month 9 , or can it be left in.? I know the stable stuff will pretty much wash away.... or dissapear ..or maby I should say it will soften up when wet... Thanks Anne Marie

Anne Marie, I left my stable stuff in when I did my trapunto. It softened up really nice when it was washed, not stiff at all. Good luck.

Nancy, Thank you for your reply. I will leave the stable stuff in. I did not know if it would affect the puffyness of the trapunto...It is my first try at trapunto so Im hopping it turns out ok. Thank You again Anne Marie

Anne, you could make a small sample (maybe 12" x 12"?) to see what your combination looks like after it's washed.

Oh my.... I have made a sample but did not think of washing it...I supose I was to busy working on my triangle border. 4 strips done out of 6. and still going strong...but I will wash the sample before I do the trapunto. Thank You Anne Marie
