I too started the beginning of 2012 but hit a snag in October and haven't gotten any further I have a commission to finish and then I can concentrate on Sedona Star it is so beautiful, I did choose my own fabrics I thought I was going to have a problem with the red and then found it at a quilt show in Toronto. Best wishes all of my fellow stragglers. Keep posting pictures.

I was so happy to see this thread. I love the quilt but just could not afford the kit last year. Got a gift certificate from my bosses to my favorite quilt shop for Christmas so hurried to download all the patterns and then had a delightful afternoon shopping I have one quilt to finish up this week and then I start on Sedona Star. My friends think I am certifiable, and I must admit I am scared but I'm going to forge ahead. Any problems (and solutions) with Month 1? I look forward to chatting with all of you and seeing how we progress.

        Warm regards,
        Sheila

check out last year's threads on the sedona star - you'll find loads of solutions & information on the problems encountered and solved...
i still havn't started the bom - but love reading all the back-and-forth on them - i learn so much just by this and when i will eventually get around to the actual bom - i'll know just where to go

Moving along with this project. Starting month 6 now! Unfortunately, I ran over my finger with my Gammill today, so instead of sewing, I'm on the couch nursing a very swollen and ouchie finger. Hopefully, I can get back to the appliqué tomorrow. I am posting what I've accomplished so far. Keep it up girls! This quilt is awesome!

Alicea, I feel for you. My Gammill almost got me the other day. My Bernina got me a couple of years ago, while I was using the embroidery module. Ouch, and lots of blood!! I felt so foolish I was embarrassed to tell anyone what happened. It healed fine. I will be extra careful this afternoon when I am back to my Gammill. Hope you are feeling better soon.

Thanks Cathy! My finger is better today. I'm a pharmacist and typing was a struggle today, But I'm sure in a few days, I'll be back to normal speed. I'm a little nervous about getting back on the horse that bucked me off though!!

Ouch, Alicia... Hope it heals quickly.
I stupidly managed to chop a huge gash into my fingertip when snipping a thread with the large scissors... Just being plain stupid... 'T's were conspicuously absent from almost everything I typed during the next few days... Thank god for the oh-so easy keyboards and keypads, can you imagine what it would have been like on the old typewriter?
