I have one week of crazy then I can get back to Sedona Star, I took on a commission for four memory quilts and I will be finishing the last two this week and Never Again comes to mind. It will be fun to get back to play time. Joan

HELP!!! I forgot to download the November and December pattern files from November and December. Can anyone send them to me, hopefully with the instruction files? Don't need the vids, just patterns and instructions?

If not available that way, can anyone tell me how to find them direct from the site??

        Thanks!!

Susan they are no longer available from the site. If no one on the forum sends you a copy in the next few days, send a message to John (through the CONTACT US link under DAILY BLOG on the purple navigation bar at the top of the page).

I didn't do that BOM and don't have any of the patterns myself.

I am just starting Sedona Star. Actually I'm just starting to decide on colors and gathering my fabric. I love Sarah's bright colors, but I think I want to do something different. I am going to try to substitute other fabrics 1 for 1 to make it a little easier. Right now I am thinking pale sage green for the turquoise parts of the original quilt. I purchased the pattern and embroidery designs from Sarah Vedeler's website. I would LOVE to borrow her brain for a day!

Yes, Joan, I will quilt this on my classic Gammill Plus long arm. I share this machine with 2 of my friends. Hope you get time to quilt soon!

Help!! I'm ready to start the machine embroidery and just realized that the thread color chart is for the bright color way and I'm using the Buttons and Bows! Do any of you know if there is another thread color chart???
                      Thanks!

                        Hi everyone!

I desparately tried to find the info throughout the forum, but I couldn't find this: What weight is used for the embroidery thread from Aurifil? I think 50 is great for piecing, but is it OK for embroidery on the appliqué? Or should I use 40 wt?

                        Thanks!

Andrée, I haven't done that BOM, but if you are concerned about the weight of the thread, just make a small sample using each thread to see which one looks the best to you!! No quilt police here!

Thanks Margo, I will do that. I have both weight in white, so when I do the samples, I will not be influenced by the choice of color, but only the visual impact and quality of stitch result.

Alicea, how marvelous. Isn't it a wonderful feeling to have completed the top. Love your colors, very smashing. Now on to the quilting. Are you going to quilt it on a domestic or long arm? Have you figured out what quilting designs you're going to do? Don't give up, you can do this.
