I agree with the previous post. Or, try something else, However, of the two shown I definitely prefer the print with its hint of turquoise.

I, too, lean toward the more restful print selection.

I also, like the border print. It seems to bring in the other colors you have used.

I also like the border print - it seems to play better with your other colors. Because it has some blue in it, it might be possible to use the turquoise, or perhaps another blue, in larger quantities later in the process. With my BOM, I have a "sort of" plan, but I too, am stuck on these big diamonds with my fabric choice. I think I will just have to go with my gut feeling. There are so many other elements to come later in this beautiful quilt, that I think each month will be an interesting discovery. Just hope I have enough fabric when I need it!

FYI - my hubby walked by while I was looking at the photo of your design so far and commented that he prefers the printed border better - he thinks the tourquoise 'clashes', but he thinks the whole thing is 'awesome'! 8)

for what it's worth, i kind of like the turquoise - WHEN IT's WITH THE BORDER PRINT - so - i would go for the border print and use the turquoise later for accents

Well it's unanimous, the border print is it. The minute I started to question the turqoise I should have listened to my inner self. Thank you all for your comments and suggestions. I have a few more days to finally be caught up for the March blocks.
