I saw the Quilts at Road 2 California!!!

OMG!!! If you ever get a chance to see these two colorways of the quilt in person, do it! I saw them at Road to California yesterday and was blown away! Even though it clearly states the size in the dirrections, the quilt seems really big in person. And it is just STUNNING!!! I can't wait! I said I was going to take my time and not try to keep up. No way! I want this baby finished!

Hi Susie Q, I'm going tomorrow, can hardly wait to see both of them. Even though I'm not doing them this year, the photos of them are great and I really want to see them in person. I'm going down with some friends and we are going to have FUN!

I saw the quilts yesterday at Road to California and they are stunning in person! The Fizz colorway is so bright and some of the detail work is beautiful.

I didn't take any pictures though, since all I had was my cell phone camera and didn't think that would do the quilts any justice.

I didn't take any pictures either. The photos on the site are much clearer than mine would have been. In hind sight, I wish I'd taken a picture with people in front of the quilts just for the scale. I was really surprised how big 80 whatever inches is in person. Stunning is still the only word for these quilts.

Does this help for scale? This photo was taken right after I finished binding it. It's layed out on my king size bed! And yes... it is pretty big!!!

No ma'am! Words cannot express that amount of "busy" I was dealing with while trying to make this quilt. But it was still so much FUN! And it's only due to an hour-long delay in the flight that I was able to actually complete it before we landed in Texas.
