    Correction to cutting instructions

If you are using the directions for pre-cutting fabric that was listed for the Beloved Beauties kits, please note that there is an error in one of the cuts.

From the background Ecru Print you will need to cut FIVE squares 9-3/4" x 9-3/4" which is one more square than the four that are listed.
Make the same changes for the Light Green Dots. Cut 5 instead of 4.

    So sorry for the typos.

Thanks Janice for the head's up!

Sorry to be dense but.... What month are these corrections for and what page number? I am sad to say I have not started mine yet but am trying to write down corrections as things go along.

    Thanks!

Barbara, in my additional instructions for the Beloved Beauties kits, I included a list of "chunky cuts" in the January/Month 1 instructions so that the larger pieces that are needed for the later months can be pre-cut from the kit and you won't need to do as much piecing later on. It's not critical that you do the pre-cuts, but it might help you figure out if you have enough yardage if you are using other fabrics.

This is a little issue and really shouldn't be a problem for anyone, but I'll point it out again when we get to November.

Margo, I just re-read the original post, and had missed the part about the light green dot fabric. Is this a 9-3/4 inch square of that as well? I don't have enough of that to cut that size of a square, I will have to cut individual setting triangles when the time comes.

Yes, Kathy. But you can cut individual triangles when the time comes.

Thanks, I've put that piece on to my pile of pre cuts so I don't use any of it before then.

I've just trimmed the March border this morning, pretty nerve-racking to cut into something that took that long to make!

Now only 8 more roses to sew on after I sew the border to the rest of the quilt. I see daylight!!
