Hey Barbara! Your fabrics look yummy!!
As for posting photos here on the forum....just write your text then scroll down a little and click on the tab that says:
"Upload Attachment"
Click on "Choose File" which will take you to your computer's files where you will navigate to the photo you want to post.
Click on your chosen file to highlight it, then click "OPEN" at the bottom of that window.
(The file name will show up beside "Choose file")
Now click "Add The File" and let the computer do it's thing, which will just take a few seconds.
You will probably have to scroll back down again to see the file listed in the box that says "File Comment".
Apparently we can only insert 3 photos at a time here, but you can go ahead and do the procedure two more times if you want to.
Place your cursor in the text box where you want your picture to be inserted then click on "Place inline".
Repeat if you have more photos uploaded.
Hope that helps!
Margo

I fell in love with the colour theme of a quilt in the TQS 2009 BOM made by ron114 and its so beautifully sewn also by him, its been at the back of my mind and I have kept a look our for a pattern that I thought those colours would look great on, as soon as I saw next years BOM I thought wow thats a perfect pattern for those "Mexican" colours.

Hi Patty! I'm not familiar with the peacock line, but I think this quilt is going to look great in any colors that you chose! Glad to hear that you are feeling well enough to join us! Hope you and John have a great Christmas!

Thanks Margo,
I am not sure of the fabric manufactures just that colors are like peacock colors and one piece has peacock feathers. I would go look at it but we are in Jacksonville, FL with the RV camping in Naval campground. Saw USS Enterprise this morning as well as a submarine. Will be back before Christmas then plan to get back in my sewing room. Wishing you and yours a Merry Christmas!!

Eileen, you might want to think about some of the floaters that will be added. They can all be pieced, but there is one wide one (with the dots) added in month 12 that requires a total length of 72". You might want to think about what fabric you will use there. Sue's fabrics are basically solids. I didn't do the dots and actually used a floral print that I had enough length so that I didn't have to piece it.
As for how many fat quarters, you will use a total of about 17-1/2 yards of fabric in addition to the background so that would be about 70 fat quarters. It may take more, depending on how matchy-matchy you want your finished quilt to be, because cutting out of fat quarters produces some waste. For my scrappy version I started with about 100 different fabrics, but some were smaller pieces and some were larger. They were all pulled from my stash.

Question for Margo. Is the white background actually white? I have bought all my Bear Essentials fabrics just like Sue's, all except for the white. I just wanted to make sure that the background was actually white, as opposed to cream, off white, etc. White, white is a little harder to find and I do not want to have any white-on-white that is painted. White, white is a technical term.

Quiltbuilder, Sue just sent me a note that says:
"I used a white-on-white….

Hi Gang --
I finally found a few minutes to cruise some of the postings on the new TQS BOM -- I am so excited because I cannot wait to see what all of YOU choose for your fabrics! Having seen what Margo did for her "test" quilt... and then with the Elly Sienkiewicz "Beloved" fabrics... all I can say is that there are going to be a whole lot of wonderful options out there for every one of us to drool over. Wheeee!!! What fun!!!!
