    So I have a question about the applique heart. My sense of order tingles when I see this block with the heart rotated due to the on pointe orientation. I remember reading on Sue's blog that she decided to do the blocks on pointe after she'd already made them, so I have a hunch that's why this one is looks to be on its side.

    What are your thoughts about being true to Sue's design vs. rotating the heart to the more usual heart look?

      Feel free to rotate it. I am sure Sue would have if she had planned her quilt on point from the beginning. I am a "symmetrical" kind of gal so seeing blocks "crooked" bothers me, too.
