Hi Barbara, Sorry, I thought I was subscribed.
I got your message in my email. It says to respond click on the link. It say TQS community, but it just takes me to the TQS website, so
the answer is yes, but it may be too late. You may use any pictures I have posted on TQS. I still have not learned how to use a lot of the features on the forum. The email I got just let me know you tried to email me. Not the actual email. Now I realize that when I click the little box below message I am unsubscribed from emails . Guess I was just confused in how I was thinking that it worked. HelenW

terrils, Thank you for testing the system and letting me know I was the problem with not being subscribed. Glad you liked the
idea of changing some of the Afternoon Delight blocks. I went one step further and started using some of the afternoon blocks and
modified Afternoon Delight blocks in my Over and Down Under quilt, which was just the squares in the center of the attached photo.
Not sure how I will put it all together but I am having fun doing it. HelenW

Thank you Karen for the compliment. The quilt in progress is made of flannel with Jet black Kona cotton for the backgrounds.
Since I was doing raw edge applique on the blocks I decided to use Ricky Tims couching technique to cover the edges

edges are not pretty when doing raw edge fusible. I used 6 strands of DMC embroidery floss and I am very happy with the
              way it is looking. HelenW
