I am using the Apliquick method to make the applique blocks. I saw on TQS show where bb said she rinsed out foundation before assembly of sample quilt. I too want to do this. Being new to the technique, I need to know the process. I have searched and find no instructions. Help please. -
In the Month 1, part 2 blog I explained that I soaked each block in warm water for about 15 minutes to remove glue and foundation paper. Allow to dry completely before trimming to 7.25”.

NOTE: all of the fibers of the foundation paper do not “wash out” but it is much less. It will probably get less with each washing, though I don’t wash my quilts frequently.
