    Printers Ink

Just a heads up--- if you leave printers ink inside your quilt it will run when wet. I had previously used it with freezer paper and hand applique. I thought that I'd better try it on the print and fuse. Heart breaking results in both cases. Had used both Canon and Epson printers.
My question is, if you have to remove the stablizer before washing, is raw edge applique the best option?

I have not had this problem with my HP printer. Always a good idea to test an product that might run: fabrics, thread, ink, markers, etc.

Thank you for your speedy reply. It would be great if members with different printers would do some testing and post their results. It seems that I will have to do some thinking about how I proceed from here.

I've had that problem with an HP printer using Ricky's Stable Stuff. I've heard you should print in draft mode to use less ink. You should always test your own stuff before using it. Even if it works for someone else, you probably have different water and use different detergent and all of these things can affect your results.
