I have an old Husqvarna Viking Designer I embroidery sewing machine that I "inherited" from my Mom, along with a Dell Inspiron laptop that can write to 3.5" floppy discs. I want to make labels that have 3 lines of text, and so far I've managed to embroider one line, but I cannot figure out how to make lines 2 and 3 - i.e. I can't figure out where the "carriage return" is. I've tried following the instructions in the manual, I've searched the internet for tutorials, and asked my Mom for help over the phone, but I'm still stuck. Please, is there anyone out there who can tell me how to make a label with three lines of text? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! :blink: -

I have a Designer 1 and use it for making labels.1. Put your floppy disc for letters in the slot. 2. Touch the word Program at the top of the screen.3. Touch the Hoop size
you are going to use. 4. Touch Menu at top of screen.5. Touch the floppy disc icon, bottom right corner of screen. 6.Pick the size font you plan to use.7.Type in
the words on the first line. 7. Touch OK and that line will go onto the screen in the hoop area. You can adjust, up, down, right and left.8.Touch Menu at top of
screen to start the next line. Repeat until you have everything typed. 9. Touch REP to have it get ready to stitch. 10. Pop up will say Save Changes. ( I have never
figured out how to save to a floppy disc using this, so I just put No and then the embroidery arm moves to position. 11. Push button on left side of machine START.I usually
slow the stitch speed to half speed because it seems to stitch out better and less change of thread breaks.
