    Center circle

I do not have wash away interfacing. Can I use something else? If the stabilizer I use is lightweight can't it just be left in without a problem? Thanks

Casciamom, Are you referring to the circles in the Sizzle block? I have used sulky light weight tear away. I trace the circle finished sized on the tear away. I cut it out.
I glue it to the wrong side of the fabric. I cut out the fabric, leaving about a 1/4 inch seam allowance. I put glue around the edge of the stabilizer and turn the seam
allowance and heat set. Then I use my stiletto to score the stabilizer paper at the edge of seam and rip the stabilizer out. The only stabilizer left in the quilt is under the
seam allowance and that has never been a problem in any of my quilts where I have used this method. HelenW

Casciamom, you could use freezer paper and remove it after you cut out the seam allowance bulk on the back. It will come out easily if you don't stitch with really long stitches for the machine applique.
