    SHOW and TELL

Show off your blocks, whether using a kit or your own fabrics.

    Here are my first six:

You might notice I often change the block, adding more fabrics, or like in Block 4, two different lights, two darks, and a special fabric for the center. It's my quilt, I get to decide.

Connie, I had the same question a few months ago. When you have selected the photo you want to use, on the right there is an option to "insert"--that does it.

The first two months' completed blocks. Block No. 5 caused me an entire week-end of grief - stitching, unpicking, stitching, unpicking, ad infinitum!! - hence the seams on that block are anything but the desired 1/4" in uniformity!!! Only when I had completed those three little monsters did I discover the very helpful post by bbquiltmaker], advising that there was a bit of a discrepancy in measurements - many thanks for sorting out that issue! I had begun to despair of my piecing skills prior to that!

I have Block 6 to finish this weekend. Block 5 Square in a Square was a challenge making the paper pattern for paper piecing. The newsprint worked well. Learning so much! Thanks Barbara!

I had a lot of blue fabrics in my stash and ordered two yards of Laundry Basket fabric.
