    Barbara, thank you as always for some great tips. I wasn't going to make this year's quilt but I enjoyed doing last year's so much, I watched your tips and saw that this quilt didn't require large amounts of yardage to start it so I did download month 1 and have my 9 blocks one for the month. I think this quilt is going to call for accurate 1/4 inch piecing and I can use practice on this.

      This is a great quilt for precise piecing. Easy blocks, small sizes, make it low-pressure. And you are right--you could start with as few as four fat quarters, adding a few more as you go. So many people struggle to put a full fabric collection together before they start. I say, just start.
