    Flying Geese borders

I am on a roll and have decided to complete the flying geese. I am using a sequence of the 8 fabrics repeating each 8 to complete one border. That leaves 3 at the end. Should I make the other side as a mirror of the first? Since the full circle will not be a multiple of 8 should I wait to make the top and bottom to make sure my fabrics do not end up too close to each other? Might need to shuffle but that would be OK.

I think you would be the only one to know you had done mirror image. I would wait until you are assembling the top and bottom borders for the exact reason you mentioned. With my luck I end up with two the same and since I don't want that, I unsew and re-do. I've learned to wait until I get to that step and plan the fabrics accordingly.
